2023 IN PERSON CLASS COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
This will be the first time since early 2020 that Rose City Folk School has offered fully in-person classes. Much is known now about the ways that COVID-19 is spread, including the elevated risks associated with group singing in indoor spaces and the devastating impacts that repeated infections continue to have on many, from high-risk individuals to previously healthy people.
Therefore, in the interest of making these classes as COVID safe as possible and accessible to everyone, including vulnerable, high-risk members of our community, we will be requiring the following:
1. Vaccination plus booster(s)
2. Well-fitting N95 or KN95 masks worn at all times indoors (except for quick sips of water)
3. No attendance with symptoms (Note: We will have a Zoom portal set up so anyone who has to miss a class/rehearsal can be there virtually or watch the recording later)
4. We will have windows open and air filters running
Please get in touch with Leela if you have any questions.
